Fluorine rubber (FKM)

Rubbers containing fluorine in the molecule are divided into various types A, B, F, and G according to the fluorine content and molecular structure.The currently widely used hexafluoropropene fluorine rubber was first listed by DuPont under the name “VITON".The high temperature resistance is better than that of silicone rubber, chemical resistance, resistance to most organic solvents (except ketones and esters), weather resistance, ozone resistance are good, and cold resistance is poor.It is widely used in automobiles, machinery, petroleum, chemical industry and other fields, with a temperature range of -25~260℃.When there are requirements for low temperature use, you can choose a low temperature grade to -40℃, but the price is higher.

EPDM rubber

EPDM rubber is a rubber formed by the copolymer of ethylene and propylene in solution, and then a third monomer (ENB) is introduced.EPDM rubber is basically a saturated polymer with very good aging resistance, good weather resistance, excellent electrical insulation performance, good chemical resistance, and good impact elasticity.The most important disadvantage of EPDM rubber is the slow vulcanization speed; it is difficult to use in combination with other unsaturated rubbers, and the self-adhesive and mutual viscosity are very poor, so the processing performance is not good.
